Not Quite the Golden Ticket…

Not Quite the Golden Ticket…

Not Quite the Golden Ticket…

However, we hoped that a day at the Chester Races would be a great day out for one of our employees.

At Delta Rock we continue to strive to grow the business we have, but in doing so we aim to create an organisation that is successful and a place of work that our team enjoy being part of. Obviously like many companies our team work across many sites and so it’s difficult to see everyone every day to catch up. However, we want to show our appreciation to them for the hard work they do, and the professional way they conduct themselves when on site.

We are pleased to say that Delta Rock has built a reputable and professional reputation within the electrical and automation sector, but this is supported and gained through the amazing team we have.

It’s why, for a bit of fun and to show our appreciation that throughout the year we provide competition opportunities for our team to win something, which we hope will be of use and enjoyed.

The Chester Races tickets were donated by one of the co-owners of Delta’s parent company The Ethikos Group. After attending a charity event and gaining two Race Day tickets, the tickets were placed as a competition for all employees to enter, via our internal forum. Through a random selection we’re please to announce the winner is Ross.

Ross who did his apprenticeship with Delta Rock is now a fully qualified electrician and works across the various industrial sectors Delta is involved with.

On handing the tickets to Ross he said “Obviously, I didn’t expect to win, but I’m really happy to be the winner and I’m looking forward to the race day. It will be a great day out for me and my partner”.

Gareth, General Manager at Delta Rock added, “These competitions are a bit of fun and a small part of how we like to support the team and show our appreciation of the hard work they do for the business.  Our team are at the front face of our business, working on site in different industry sectors and it’s important that they represent Delta Rock in the correct manner.”

Gareth added, “Having the right skills and experience is obviously needed, but presentation and etiquette is key to Delta Rock too, to ensure our reputation is maintained. We are pleased that our team support us and share our values. We hope these competitions we run contribute to the other things we do to show our appreciation and add some fun. Well done Ross enjoy your day off at the races”.

Congratulations Ross, we hope you enjoy your time and get lucky with backing the right horse on the day. Have a great day at the races.
